Onsite Training

Our experienced implementation staff can come onsite for one on one training. We prefer the train the trainer approach so that individuals in your company become the software experts. We will also accept the challenge of training your entire staff face to face to ensure that each person is going into the “Go-Live” date with knowledge to be successful. PS Data’s implementation staff, working alongside of you, will design and complete a detailed training schedule specific to your organizational needs.

 

Remote Training

Get quick, easy and comprehensive training available to your company over the web. If you’re interested in an easily scheduled training session, remote training is the quickest and most cost-effective solution. If your team is considering a new ERP implementation with PS Data; our implementation staff can create a comprehensive training schedule under budget.

 

Data Import

We find that while our new clients transition to our ERP software system that the need in maintaining all of their existing system data is vitally important. Our team will take all of your existing information and convert it to your current ERP data with the new system. This will take place twice during the implementation process. The first time, we will use your system data and import it into our system so you can train with your current vendors, customers, tags etc. The second time around will be for the “Go-Live”. On the “Go-Live” day, you will have another data import completed by us so that our ERP system has all of your most current information. Of course, this is customized to your needs based on the required data needed for the cut over.

 

Custom Software Development

If one of our OUT OF THE BOX professional solutions does not meet your current needs, we have a team specifically dedicated to work with your current processes and translate them effectively to a new, more efficient business process. We provide on or off-site options that enable our team to work directly with you. Our ability to take your workflows and translate them into working, functional modules is incredibly quick. MySteelCloud Platform

PS Data has its own cloud option partnered with Microsoft where we have complete control on the setup, maintenance and security for our clients. With server locations across the country your data is secure and safe. This allows our clients to utilize our software system without owning any hardware.  Access P.S. Data’s ERP system from anywhere in the world!

 

Accounting Support Services

This is an optional value-added service for customers using a PS Data system who would like professional assistance in maintaining and reporting financial information.

A PS Data Accounting Specialist will:

 

  • Reconcile all system used accounting to ensure GL values tie out to detail values.
  • Monthly financial reporting package includes:
    • Reconciliation Report (PS Data’s Green Light Report)
    • Monthly income statement
    • Balance Sheet
    • Inventory Cost Details
    • Active AR/AP detail
    • Detail on changes/fixes made during reconciliation
    • JE details for and reconciliation adjustments posted
  • Complete month closing procedures in the software.
  • Coordinate with necessary customer employees to ensure all entries are made and complete month closings.
  • Yearly financial reporting package includes:
    • Reconciliation report (PS Data’s Green Light Report)
    • Year-end income statement and month to month income summary
    • Balance sheet
    • Inventory cost details
    • Active AR/AP detail
    • Detail on changes/fixes made during reconciliation
    • JE details for any reconciliation adjustments posted
  • Complete year end closing procedures.
  • Manage GL periods including GL, AR and AP freezes to protect historical data.

 

 

EDI Services

P.S. Data has the expert staff to help you plan and manage your EDI transactions. EDI is an important part of the steel industry. We are here to help guide and manage this for you. PS Data can work with multiple vans to map and manage transactions between any vendor or customer.

 

PS Data also offers PSDATA.NET which allows our customers to transact EDI with one another since they are both on PS Data ERP systems. This is a free service offered to PS Data clients only.

 

EDI management services are an optional added value service for customers using our steel software who would like professional assistance in monitoring and maintaining EDI communications with trading partners.

Currently, customers who utilize EDI capability of the software rely upon P.S. Data for the setup and connection of EDI to trading partners, but retain the responsibility of making sure data within the system is present and formatted correctly where required.

With EDI Management Services, P.S. Data EDI specialists will:

  • Monitor inbound and outbound EDI transactions to ensure any issues with data are promptly addressed to prevent delays in sending EDI.
  • Act on behalf of your company in dealing with trading partners for all EDI related matters, including
    • Missing or inaccurate inbound transactions
    • Trading partner concerns and notifications on outbound transactions
  • Handle communications related issues with utilized Value-Added Networks (VANs)
  • Coordinate with your employees responsible for data maintenance to ensure requirements for receiving and sending of EDI are met.

 

With EDI management services, you will not have to worry about missing or incorrect data when sending EDI, and will not have to be an expert on EDI requirements to perform at a high level with your EDI trading partners.
